i think member has one like this in his signature as his truck has [the lack thereof] the stripes i'm talkin about..

this is a google'd hoe.. not mine :D

The strip with the bowtie 1500 on it.. i'd like to remove that.. would it be as easy as it sounds? usin a screwdriver or a scraper?

I wouldn't. When u take it off u will noice a big difference most likely on he paint. If h do wanna do it then apply hot air to it and it will come off quite easily. I don't know exactly what to use by I think u can use a hair dryer to heat it up

what ez said and you will notice a clean section of paint but mine wasnt all that bad after a good prof buffed and waxed it out its still noticeable tho

pulled mine in on a 100 degree day with it in the sun. stips pulled right off and the tape rolled off with my thumb.

heat gun and eraser wheel works wonders as well.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback y'all. I have to repaint anyways eventually so the fade shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll def look into that 3M eraser wheel.
