Hey dudes,

As a result of these interior trim mod posts and this thread, I took the plunge last night - yeay!
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30740

I ended up with a 2007 blk on blk LTZ with 44K miles, loaded to the max with DVD, captain chairs, etc. It is GM certified, so I got 2.9% financing and one year (12K miles) bumper to bumper new car warranty. I added an additional 2 years GMPP on top of that after the 1 year is over. I must have driven 15 of these trucks (2007-2009), ranging from LTs to Z71s to LTZs with mileage anywhere from 40K to 60K miles. None of them were clean like to one I got, and some of them made all kinds of noises on start up or felt like the wheels were going to fall off (probably just solved by some belt lube and an alignment, but common give me a good deal if I am going to buy it like that) . My truck was from OK, so it didn't have any rust on the underside like every single other one I drove from my area (Chicago, rust-belt), even the hitch didn't have rust on it. Leather was perfect, engine was spotless, and only one spec of imperfection on one climate control button which even my very particular eye can barely see. I am so pumped!

Licking the wounds from a big purchase right now, so I will live with the wood:emotions122: for the time being. But first mod is to pull those out and I am thinking about doing a gloss black refinish on the piece around the NAV and the cup holder area. And the rest of the wood on dash and doors a black carbon fiber.

I will post pics once the mods begin, otherwise it is stock, so you can picture it.

Later dudes:beer:

Congrats on the new purchase. But you still should post pics as it stands right now, then you can post pics after you have done a mod or two.

Nope. The purchase did not take place unless you post pictures now.

LOL that's a little harsh :)

Harsh? You wanna see harsh? :)

I question the validity of the original post. As we all know, there has never been a black Tahoe, Yukon, or Denali manufactured or sold in the entire United States. We need to see pictures right now to verify the original post!!!
