Owner’s manual never states brake fluid capacity. I used Motul 5.1 and used roughly 5 @ 200 mL containers?

Typically, when I change brake fluid I like 3qts (or 48 fl oz) on hand. End up using 2 to 2-1/2 of them to bleed and flush.

Don’t let the master cylinder run dry. Take your time. Have fun!

i always buy two of the largest bottles they sell at the parts store if doing a full flush. i always seem to have extra, not a bad thing really.

i just did my regal today, i had the local shop replace my front to rear brake lines and they failed to bleed the master and abs once it went dry on them. so the rears came up with nice new fluid the fronts came out black, with a side dish of air. so i flushed them out, used over 1/2 of one large bottle. those brakes must get really hot cause i flushed the fluid a couple years ago and have not put more then 5,000 miles on that fluid.

also did the one man bleeder deal again. nothing like a free bleeder set up.
