My lower brake lights, turn signals, and 4 way flashers do not work on the rear. The 3rd brake light works and the taillights work as well as reverse lights. The brake switch works (confirmed with cruise control. Bulbs are good and I've checked all the fuses. My fuse diagram doesn't specifically specify brake lights. I pulled the taillights and don't see any exposed wires and the connectors look good under the rear. I had a new bumper cover put on and that's when it started. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I inspected the bulbs and the filaments were all intact. I wouldn't think all the bulbs would blow at once.

Bad turn signal stalk???
Brake lights and rear blinkers share the same power source. Blinkers work up front but not in the rear and no brake lights, I would suspect the blinker switch and/or blinker wires inside the steering column.

owners manual will show where the likely 3 different fuses would be located for brake lamps (if you do not have a owners manual I am sure there is one posted online in pdf somewhere), if those all check out good, buy at least 1 new bulb and swap for beginners, then if still no go, check with a electrical meter the brake wire going into the rear light assembly before the harness connection, if you have power before the harness then the brake light board inside the housing may be bad I hear they are pretty costly hopefully that's not it. this is a just quick test method there could be other things like the bulbs not getting a good surface connection from either heat or moisture or anything else but it should help narrow down the problem.

I would not assume that your brake switch at the pedal is working. On my Ram, it had 3 separate circuits running through it. I found that when my cruise was not working but brake lights did.

Edit- check the above fuses. Also check for pinched wires around your trailer plug.

Which truck do you have? Under warranty still?

I had a similar issue with a break light and I was told the brake light switch under the actual break pedal ($25.00) was bad. I change that still no light left side brake light. Upon further inspection of the bulb and the socket, there was black carbon or soot on the brass that connect to the wires on the bulb. I took a flat head screw driver and scraped the black stuff off of the brass connector in the socket. $FREE and it works. Now I'm a believer in the bulb grease that they sell.
