Help me please....I am lost !

I need to replace my brake lines..( 2002 Tahoe with Hydraboost 4 disk. WITHOUT JL4 ! )
So I checked the TBS about those brake line kits ... and found KIT Number. 22933216 this kit is for Ck 15706
Year 2002 ...with JH5. so far so good but it also says Option JL4 ( but my Hoe doesn´t have this option )
And unfortunatly, there is no other Part /Kit Number that would match my car

Anyone here...who can give me a good advise ??

Thank you

Greetings Jurgen

I would advise you to buy rolls of 'easybend' brake line and make them yourself. People has lost half their minds and most of their sanity trying to run the oem brake lines. And they are steel, beasybend is NiCop, so it is rust resistant.

Thank you for your advise

I have the AGS nicop brake line set /kit here... but our "TUV " DMV.. doesn´t like this nicop They say that this material could perhaps break..fail..or what ever. Also the same for stainless steel ( like the kit from Dorman ) I have this kit too...:(

So...I thought to go with " mild steel "..the OEM stuff . That´s the reason because I asked about the correct part number for the GM OEM brake tube kit..

I for myself would prefer to go with one of the kits I allready have... In the US lot of guys use the nicop lines as far as I know. Are they "bullitproof " ? No problems at all ? Perhaps I can find a TUV engineer who will approve this material

..... started to use the Stainless Steel lines... from Dorman. The rubber hoses are from Ac Delco ( OEM Equipment -sadly made in China ) but better than my 17 years old rubber hoses. Because they started to show up cracks..
Next week I will change the front lines... and the one that goes from the ABS Block to the rear center rubber hose.
Looks like a one or two days job. but it has to be done.

Greetings Juergen

btw... the SS Lines fron Dorman, are also made in China.. AGS NICOOP is China stuff also.. sad sad sad

Sorry I did not check in for a few days. I used to have to deal with TUV, so I know how they can be. I think they would not like seeing Nicop because they are a little weaker than stainless. It takes less pressure to rupture them, but from my reading, it is impossible to reach that pressure in a brake system.

...yeah. Germany is a very special place to live... Regulations regulations... SADLY
So I hope that the SS lines will pass the TUV
