Hey guys I got a 99 Tahoe with the 5.7. I'm having an issue my break pedal pulsates and I'm hearing a deep moaning tone even when I don't push the brake is doing that and it makes my lights flicker my abs light is not on and one side will grab and the other won't. Any advice would be appreciated

Pull the fuse for the ABS and see if the condition changes. Then put the fuse back and see if the same thing happens.

it also maybe be a binding brake. inspect the side that is grabbing for caliper jamming, signs of heat damage and such.

A binding caliper or a stuck caliper piston usually will cause the vehicle to pull to one side when you step on the brake pedal. Either condition will cause uneven wear between the brake pads and also on the rotor if it is vented. I've seen rotors come in that are almost paper thin on one side due to a bad caliper. The customers still insist that there's nothing wrong with the caliper and would want just a hang-and-turn. Lol.

Thanks guys really appreciate it. Would any of these also cause that deep moaning tone I hear as well as my brake pedal pulsating?

the deep moaning sound is a strange one. It could be the booster diaphram. If it's leaking that could be the culprit. Is the moaning the same type of sound you get when the ABS kicks in? Does it only make the sound when stepping on the brake pedal or does it c and go randomly?

If it is a sensor failing on the front, the ABS light will kick on and stay on and the problem will go away...but ABS will no longer function. As it was stated, pulling the large fuse under the hood will confirm this
