Hi I have an 01 Tahoe z71 and my brakes (I think) are having a problem. It only happens when I reverse, but when I reverse and break, I hear all kinds of terrible noises. It kinda sounds like I'm backing into a snow bank of you know what I mean. Any help on diagnosing would be appreciated, thanks!

My sister had this same problem when I was about 7. Turns out she was backing over my bicycle.
I think you have a different issue though.....

Stop backing up into snow banks. Since you know what it sounds like, i can deduce that you've done it at least once. ;)

Honestly I'd check the rear drum brakes (parking brakes) if the linings on the pads (disc brakes) are still thick.

Enlist the help of a friend. Clean your truck out of loose rattling junk. Have your friends drive and maybe you will hear the noise. Maybe have them by you as you listen. Jdkdicicbskosdjdiirrirbbsndhns
