the reason I ask is because the service brake light without a abs light at the same time only means a couple thingsHaven't been outside today. Taking care of a newborn lol. I'm gonna check it out tomorrow though
1. the fluid is low
2 the fluid sensor is faulty
3. proportioning valve is stuck
not 100% sure if these are the only possibilities if it has hydroboost or not, but since it does not and the cluster thinks it does then it could just be the sensor, presuming no brake work was done recently?
also presuming this is the case, unplugging the brake fluid sensor (if equipped) should make the service brake light go off. in which case you could troubleshoot the sensor or replace it I think they run about $25.00 but if unplugging does not work then it's something else.
