Brake recall issues

All, Just took my 2015 Tahoe PPV in for the brake recall. After they reprogrammed the brake control module, it started throwing all sorts of error codes and has left the vehicle undrivable. Unless you're having the problems with the increased brake pedal pressure, you might want to hold off on this recall. Dealer has tech support and engineering involved, but no resolution yet.

Here's my vehicle info: 2015 Tahoe PPV pre-production unit. Unit was dressed up in CHP livery and parked for 4 years in a show room in CA. I found it last year with only 1,076 miles on it and some VERY square tires! Other than some decal residue, it looks like brand new.

Just an update on this -- Chevy still has no resolution. Been without the beast for about 3 weeks now. They still can't figure out what blew up the brake system.

Ok -- final update on this one. After 45 friggin long days, Chevy finally figured out that there is a software glitch related to the vehicle VIN #. Pre-production units seem to have a different VIN than production units. Took 2 trips from the Engineer, tearing the whole interior (and a lot of stuff under the hood, etc.), to finally prove to them that this was a software issue -- not a hardware issue. Finally have the Beast back home and usable again.

Glad to hear it got resolved. Can be very frustrating for sure.

Have any pics of your beast? I'm surprised they sold a pre production unit to a civilian/the public. Very interesting.....

they did a software update on my 2018 like 2/3 months ago
