Ok, I am stumpped on this one. After teh truck sits parked for a while, lets say a few hours. I get in and have no pedal pressure, it can go to the floor almost. After I drive a little the pressure seems to come back and everything seems alright. Any ideas? I starting thinking brake booster but that makes the pedal hard to push right? Any ideas would help. Thanks.

almost to the floor initially sounds like a master cylinder seal to me to, but hey! Sounds like someone is ready for a hydra-boost upgrade.

Yeah, I'd like hydroboost. I've never looked into to it. Is there a kit that can be bought?

An update, truck sat all night and got in, no problems at all. I agree is sounds like the master.

there is one I have seen but very expensive and fancy looking. I would just piece it together from the 97 2 diesel parts list. I know you are looking at pedal, booster, MC, the fluid lines and one line adapter.since you can not core charge any of it check amazon for the delco part numbers as well as rock auto before local stores. that is what I did. just have not had the money to do it yet.
