Brake upgrade questions

stainless braided im guessing.. acdelco will be perfect, makign your own lines will be around 100bucks. fittings and crap is expensive.

So, to upgrade this entire setup...here is what i think i need

Hydroboost w/mounting plate
Master Cylinder
Powersteering pump
High pressure lines w/fittings

What else am I missing?

O wow... Im gonna have 2 lookin in2 this... I hope these parts r compatable with my Limited...

yup i just installed one on my limited had to and i also installed a impala rear end with disk brakes

What yr and truck did you get the hydroboost unit from sslimited?

my boy got it from a parted out burban not sure what year all the lines you see on the pic are from the burban too! and they all fit perfect ! HE ALSO HAD TO CUT THE BRAKE PEDAL A LIL AND MESS WITH THE FIRE WALL A LIL IN ORDER FOR THE HYDRO TO BOLT RIGHT UP ! I LUCKED OUT I GOT THE HYDRO FOR 100 AND THE LINES FOR 60 ! ILL ASK HIM WHAT YEAR THE TRUCK WAS TOMORROW DID YOU GUYS HAVE ANY MORE QUESTIONS I SHOULD ASK HIM OR ANY MORE PICS ANYONE WANT ME TO TAKE ?

i'm curious to hear of the modifications he did to the pedal. I remember reading a few months back you have to buy the pedal for the hydro unit, but i can't find that writeup anywhere...if you buddy knows how to modify it, even better!!

if you want the hydroboost parts numbers for OEM shit, here ya go :)
gathered them up a while ago and been sitting on it

Hydroboost kit PN 178-578
master cylinder PN 174-722
steering box PN 36-0517567
power steering pump PN 36-517138
Hydraulic line from pump to booster PN 36-365470
Hydraulic line from booster to steering box PN 36-365480

Atomic - is there a reason you chose power steering pump 36-517138 and not http://www.oehq.com/Partpix/ACDjpg/36-517137.jpg

One more question, what do you need to upgrade the power steering box?

Im going 2 the junkyard right now 2 see wat I can find on this hydroboost and brake pedal business...

Sslimited- The Impala rear end u used, was that a 94-96 SS rear..?
