Replaced the brake booster today...not the problem. Getting a used ABS unit tomorrow but wont be able to install in for a few days. I'll keep ya posted as to my results. This is really nerve racking.

Is the new one expensive? Not sure if it's a good idea to buy a used one unless you could make sure it worked properly...

A new one was just over $110 at AutoZone. The used ABS unit is gonna run me $75. I bought a used booster from the yard I'm getting the ABS unit from. The person I bought it from told me that if it did not solve the problem, he would take it back without issue. Neither the used or new booster solved the problem. We'll see in a few days when I get the used ABS unit on if that fixes the problem.

An update to my brake saga. I recently replaced the ABS unit and had the system bled AGAIN...problem persists. While looking to upgrade the rears to disc, I noticed that in the SSBC kit a new master cylinder was included. I thought hmmmmm. After reading the description of the included parts, the master cylinder is referred to as "Firm Feel." Inquistive as I am, I called SSBC and explained my delima. The CS rep. explained that this master cylinder will infact remedy my problem and further told me I could buy the unit for around $280.00. After a little research I found another companty selling this part for $180.00. I bought one and should have it installed by next week. Let you guys know if this fixes the problem.

The part number is A0463 and can be found on the SSBC website. It's a little pricey there. I found the same part on PacePerformance.com for $180.00+tax. It is being shipped from SSBC. Hope this helps.

I have heard about people eliminating this unit and installing a proportioning valve in its place, like the good old days...Just not sure of the legality of doing so. Supposedly it really helps.
