The firm feel is basically a NBS master with a larger bore. My suburban and tahoe have a nice firm pedal.....but only after some work. like the lines and master replacement. We have some trouble with a race car of our that had two brand new masters end up being the problem. Third one worked well and brought pressure back to tthe system.

Years ago I replaced teh master on my tahoe....could not get the pedal pressure back. We had to have the truck towed to the dealer to bleed the ABS system as air was in there. To have the ABS bled takes a computer or cycling the system somehow.

I almost bought the firm feel but after upgrading pads, rotors lines and adjusting the rear brakes it feels good. A guy on FSC I spoke to a ways back loved his firm feel master though.

Ok...so I received my "Firm Feel" master cylinder today. Bled it, installed it, and then bled the system. HOLY GUACAMOLE BATMAN!!!! What a difference, like night and day. The pedal no longer goes to the floor, the brakes feel more firm, it stops like my 07 3/4 ton Silverado, it's just all around good. Wish I had found this before replacing everything else. LOL. Oh well, a lesson learned.

Thanks for posting guys. My truck has some mushy feeling brakes too. Bad enough that I'd be afraid to put 4000 lbs' worth of boat and trailer behind it lol. I'm not quite ready to acquire the boat, but at least I've got a direction to go to fix the brake issue.

I've been driving BMWs for 8 years now (before needing and acquiring the truck) and the contrast between the braking feel of the truck and the braking feel of my bimmers is immense lol! I'm not expecting it to feel like a sports car but I'd at least like it to be confidence inspiring!
