Guess we will find out soon enough. You have a young man with no knowledge of cars that just purchased a used vehicle. Need to be patient and walk him through issues as they come up.An '07 with low mileage for $5,000? What's wrong with it?! lol
Howdy, i just bought my first car. A 2007 gmc yukon with 129,000 miles, i paid for 5000 dollars for it and i absolutely love it, its definitely a dream car for me. I've always loved cars, but obviously have never owned one until now, so i am brand new to the scene. My father failed me so i look to YouTube videos and random strangers on the internet for advice on how to keep my sweet ride driving. I honestly just learned how to replace a tire yesterday so that about where i'm at with my mechanical ability. This forum really looks awesome so i had to join and write a little about myself.

lol, hopefully one day ill know how to pull an engine and strip it downNot all Dad's are mechanically inclined but he brought you this far along didn't he? LOL Soon as I turned 15 my father mysteriously forgot all about cars too. That meant I was to take over maintaining the fleet and I did! In a few short years I could pull and engine and strip it down to a bare block in 58 minutes!
just picked up a pair of jackstands and a jack for myself. and i think its really cool how people on here are willing to share their knowledgeIf you want to do the work you will need to start gathering tools a little at a time. Basic stuff first like wrench sets ad sockets and ratchets....etc. Lots of mechanical knowledge here. Just ask and be ready to answer questions. Will need to ask questions of you since we are not there with you. Pics posted help too.
