If you want brighter, the spec you should be looking at is the lumen output. None of the other numbers directly influence the actual brightness.

Color matters 6000k is going to be your brightest lamp, going up or down from there results in lower output, and wattage either 35w or 55w, the latter being the most powerful. 35w bulbs will also handle 55w no problem, supposedly with less lifetime but I haven't ever experienced it. Finding anything more powerful is going to be a needle in the haystack or fake. It basically boils down to a good ballast from there and then use direct to battery wiring

I won't argue that color isn't relevant because some eyes see some colors better than others. But lumen output(or candelas if you're old school) is how we measure brightness in the electrical industry. Comparing wattage is misleading. A 10 watt led will be brighter than a 10 watt hid or 10 watt incandescent. Wattage reflects the work done by the entire circuit. It's not directly correlated to brightness. Hope this helps.

the problem with LED is the shape, after all these years the knuckleheads still haven't figured it out, but for general purpose aftermarket use it depends on the housing.
some led's can be adjusted but still have a dead spot. led's are not known to work well in a projector housing that the DS3 is made for.
