Broken connector on intake side for pcv hose

I have a 2009 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L LS 4 x 4. I had a vacuum leak where the PCV hose connects to the top side of the intake manifold, and I put a larger O-ring in there, and in the process of replacing it, the plastic broke on the connector on the intake manifold. I have included a picture to hopefully help understand. I do not want to change the entire intake, but because the hose is hard plastic, I’m worried I won’t be able to Jimmy something together. Please help.

I'm having some difficulty in actually seeing your issue in the photo, but that may be just my eyes. Is there enough meat on the broken piece still connected to the intake manifold (and you still have the piece that broke off), you could use JB Weld or something similar to try to piece back together with your existing parts.

My solution without having to replace the intake would be to drill a hole on the left big enough to fit a zip tie thru and feed it over the top and strap it around the metal fuel line, this would hold the connector down snug enough hopefully to prevent a vacuum leak.
my crude drawing below, red being where I would drill the hole and green being the zip tie
OR feed the zip tie under the fuel line and drill another hole in the engine beauty cover mount, either way should create more force on the right side where the clip is broke off

Jb weld isn’t working. Works for a day n then it runs like crap again. I understand the zip tie theory my only question is if it would have enough downward force. I’m gonna scrape off jb weld n try bigger o ring n jb weld again. I watched a video where the mechanic takes the entire broken part off manifold & puts a grommet & elbow connector to a tune to the back. His model did not have the tube that slides down inside the manifold (comes out with oil on it) is that part important to my truck? See picture. Thank you so much guys!

Whoa, I just replaced that line last week and it was tight for me too.

If it was my truck, I would seriously think about using silicone caulk, the high heat variety, with the standard oring. The caulk is the new seal, it goes on the manifold surface and up and around the pcv tube end. Make sure it's all nice and clean with a plastic safe cleaner. Put a weight on it to hold it while it cures.
Make sure your line is 100% or new, it's gonna be annoying to replace it again.

Good luck. If you have to swap the manifold, at least you can get the gaskets out of the way and not worry about them

zip tie should work fine. if not a used intake is around $175 or so
