Sounds like more of a dealer problem. Maybe I’m lucky, but my dealer would never let that happen. I’ve been buying there for years and know the service manager and have owners cell number as well. I think they would provide a longer, or rental, even if they had to take it from a sales manager.
Def lucky. It sounds like you and the owner are really good friends, not many people have their car dealers owners personal cell number lol. As a regular non owner knowing customer spending 100k, you’d want better service than what OP is getting.

I purchased the vehicle from a different dealer than I’m having it serviced at. (Purchased at Confidence in Midwest City, OK and serviced at Bob Howard in Edmond, OK) I’m not sure that would matter though as the service tech at Bob Howard said they have a list of 13 people waiting on a loaner.

13 waiting on a loaner because, they don’t have a clue what they are doing, guessing, or only had 2 loaners to start with?

I hear you but this is just your own personal bias/experience. I have had 4 Yukons since 2016 with never a lick of a major issue.

My 21 Trail Boss and 23 Yukon Denali have been flawless fantastic vehicles. I realize there are some bad ones out there and sympathize with those owners. Also had a 08 Suburban I drove over 200K miles with just reg maintenance. 89 and 03 Corvettes same thing. 96 Tahoe was fine but did need a trans rebuild at 100K.
I have had just as many Japanese vehicles and they have been equally reliable.

I’d hope to not have issues either with the amount of money you’ve spent buying new cars every 1-2 years…

Way back in time..... My '88 GMC C2500 had warranty defects......
I had to shop for a dealer that wanted to respond as per warranty. ( You can go to any GM dealer )
The REGIONAL Service rep makes the final "OK", and some of these people seem crocked to me)

Lemon Law..... 1st thing to do...... Have the 'issue' in their writing.... Keep the copy....
Have them 'release' your vehicle, back to you, if it's not FIXED, or they "claim" it's fixed...... When the 'issue' is STILL a problem, now, GM MUST fix it.... as long as it takes. RETURN BACK TO THAT DEALER, WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT..... Force them to re-write the "issue" a SECOND TIME...... Keep a copy....

You are now, under the "Lemon Law requirements".

sadly this is a common post. I've noticed gm dropping off over the years and what really gets me is it's the drivetrain that's failing. if it was all the new bells and whistles I could almost see it. but it's a old push rod v8 getting 15mpg. this is not rocket science. not some cutting edge twin turbo 4 cam low volume run. these are on everything gm makes for years.

the 13 person waiting list is very telling. they can't get parts and they are breaking faster than they can be fixed.

someone in gm has to know as soon as they lose the return customer, he's never coming back to your brand.. burning bridges.
