I am currently looking at purchasing a 2007 Tahoe LTZ. Anything to be aware of? Problems? Issues? Trouble with anything in particular. Moving up from a Trailblazer, and just wondering what to expect with a Tahoe. I appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

I just upgraded from an Envoy...I think you will enjoy the new ride.

I think the door lock module for each door would be something to check.

I have a relative that has this engine and it uses oil at less than 100k, not sure how to test for this. I am also not sure how common it is.

I ended up getting a Denali with the 6 speed, if you get an 09+ hoe they all have a 6 speed if the price difference is not too much.

Well ChrisAU, its the same color as yours. Bermuda Blue is what attracted me. I have not seen that many in that color. The Dash and interior as a whole is perfect. The vehicle was leased and only driven by one person. It looks as if no one ever sat in the other seats in the vehicle. It has 110,000 miles which scares me. but everything is solid, as for me working for an auto shop, I will have my guys look it over. I have not seen or worked on a whole lot of these, and do not know what the problem areas are.

Were there any issues with the one you looked at? It's not the one for sale in Arkansas is it? I'm looking at that one too.

I bought an 07 Burb with 63K miles'on it back in April. It was neglected and needed the following taken care of:

- Cracked dashboard needed replacement.
- Drivers Seat Motor needed replacement.
- Drivers Door Lock Broken and needed to be replaced.
- All interior door handles were peeling the chrome, GM did replace these for free. Guess that is cheaper then a law suit when one cuts their hand or finger.
- Front Sway Bar bushings/links needed replacement as they were completely gone after just 63K miles.
- Passenger Airbag module needed replacement as the Airbag light was on.
- Ceck engine Light was on, needed a Evap Purge Solenoid Valve.
- A/C and Serpentine Belt needed to be replaced.

The Truck is at the dealer TODAY for:
- Exterior mirrors are being exchanged due to the power folding feature not working.
- Truck is leaking and needs a main gasket/seal replaced where the tranny meets the engine.

I own an '06 NBS GMC Yukon as well, 96K milkes on the clock. Now that the Burb is all taken care of, I do like the truck and so does the Mrs., I also think that the Exterior design on the NNBS Tahoe/Suburban is AWESOME and looks GREAT.

But I have to say, I think the overall quality of the NBS Truck vs. the NNBS truck is far superior, as I have not had a single issue other then regular maintainece with my NBS Yukon.
