I've been using the Diablo tune and love it so far.

I just purchased a diablo intune2. Any recommendations for the settings? I don't plan on getting any other mods, I just want it to shift like it should..

Initially...set it up with their caned 93 octane tune, remove AFM, set all 5 transmission shifts to the firmest setting and boost the throttle 20%. Run that for a while and get used to it. Afterwards you can start experimenting with the spark advance and fuels pressure settings. I also dis engaged the speed limiter. You may also want to try driving around town in "Tow/Haul" mode....it holds the gears a bit longer.

I am not sure I'd personally ever go with the 93 tune.. One of the very few perks to owning the suburban over the denali is that we get to use 87 octane lol. Unless, it was to give me a huge power increase, of lets say 30-40 hp at least..Are you still using the 93 tune?
I;m going to try the tow/haul mode today..

I tried the towing mode today.. Its pretty decent, but can the programmer make the car shift sort of in between the tow mode and how it regularly shifts? I feel that the towing mode holds on to the low gears just a tad bit too long..

Yes...play around with the part and full throttle shift point programming in the lower gears until you get it as you like it. Everyone has a different driving style and the nice thing that I have found about the InTune 2 is that you have a lot of choices to customize your vehicle to suit your taste.

I currently use the canned 87 octane tune and it's like night and day between stock programming and the 87 tune. I would do 93 except for the fact that you can only get 91 octane around here in Phoenix. One of these days I really need to reach out to Diablew and get a custom tune done.

I finally found a way to solve the shifting problem,,, I traded it in and got a new leftover 16' Escalade esv.. lol.. Do you think I should try te diablo tuner on the escalade? I cant find many threads on here about removing Torque Management on the 6.2..
