Hello I have a strange issue with my ABS light coming on when I hit a bump then the doors unlock and the check engine light blinks but don't stay on. Now and then the service brake system will pop up in the information Center but not always. Also there is loss of power when all this is going on like slow aceleration. This has been going off and on for last few days but like I said its of and on. So today I got the code pulled its C0237 Chevrolet - Erratic Rear Speed Signal.
Thanks guys if anyone knows any suggestions

I’m bumping this thread. I have the same issue and it just started this morning while driving to work. Anyone has any ideas of how to repair this issue?

Neither of those members have been on here in at least 5 years. I wouldn't expect an answer from either one.

Thank you I think I ended up finding the issue with wires running across the top of transfer case

If you were to use a capable bidirectional scanner, it would show the speed sensors (there may be as many as three for the tranny and transfer case, depending on your setup) and would also show the commanded vs. actual positions of the 4wd modes so you wouldn't be groping in the dark.

I dug deep into it with scanning and everything was looking good. Went back and double checked grounds. My first try I guess I didn't check it to well because i found a very bad ground on top of the motor on the back side that failed miserably. It's the main ground for the pcm causing all my problems. That thing was hanging on by insulator and would move around going over a bump
