So......

How difficult is it to get into the gauge cluster on a 2012 Eskie??? I have a mosquito that made its way in there and obviously died!!!!!

Basically it's right behind the plastic lens that covers the gauges, lying at the bottom.....just sitting there, bugging me....no pun intended!!!

Ideas???? please!!!

Remove the bezel - clips on the bottom. then four 7mm bolts that hold the cluster in. unplug the harness and youre good to go.

Once off - pry back the tabs on the lens and you have full access inside.

So, if I just want to remove the bezel, do I still need to unplug the harness? I don't need to take the gauges out, just get in behind that clear bezel.

Still need to unplug it. No harm in doing so. The bezel I speak of goes all the way around the cluster - the black piece. then you remove the four 7mm, unplug and pop the tabs (be careful because they break easy) and the lens will come off.

Fixed......for now.

Took the air nozzle and tried messing with spraying air in different places. Well it worked and the dreaded dead mosquito I believe is shoved way over to the side out of view!!
