Does it not stand reason that as long as the total diameter is the same and weight ratings of the tire-wheel combo are equal you should not loose any capacity?

It just make sense to me now, it dont matter what kinda rims you have. it all matter the TOTAL diameter with the Tire and rims install

Larger, heavier wheels make for more rolling mass directly effecting braking though. But as for load capacity...the suspension is the same, just make sure the tires are rated properly.

And as bowtie mentioned maybe weigh the new vs old to at least know if braking issues might come up. At least you can trailer being prepared for changes to your driving habits if needed or adding a trailer brake system even for something small.

Find out from the wheel manufacturers website or by phone what the rated weight carrying capacity of the wheel is. I don't know for sure, but I doubt you can find an E-rated 10-ply tire to wrap around said wheel.

I would double check the tires max rating, lots of guys that go and put on bigger tires and rims get tires that aren't rated as high ... just a thought.

I just got the SUV back today and i measure my outer part of the tire,

The total diameter is 32"

I been searching for total diameter of stock rims and tire, but i have no LUCK.

is anyone here has a stock rims and stock tire size in there possession? or know the stock diameter?

if you have it can you please measure it from END to END from the tire.. plsss

the only think i have found is this
~~~~~~ TIRES: P265/70R16: LF=4/32", LR = 2/32", RF = 5/32", RR - 2/32" ~~~~~~
I have no idea what is LF=4/32"
but i notice they are all 32". maybe thats a total diameter of the stock rims and tire
