I've searched before anyone tries to suggest that, I've heard zz4 and lt4 cam, but there's always someone saying it won't work or it's not worth it yada yada yada. Is there a cam worth installing where I won't need a tune or different springs? If I have to get bigger springs and a tune, will it drive decent enough to get to a shop to have it tuned? And obviously which cam should I go with? And what needs to be changed to make it work? Its a 5.7

A cam that won't need to be retuned or new springs? You could swap in a new stock one. Identical to what you have now.....just newer. If you aren't adding enough lift to require new springs, nor adding enough additional duration to require a tune you're pissing in the wind. You'd probably gain as much power as a rocker arm ratio increase

LT4 will work. Yes it will require springs. The tune is required so the motor will run with the new cam. The tune alone gives you access to HP as well as backing off or getting rid of the torque management.

Any cam will need springs and a tune, if you want it to run that is. LT4 is OK but you are leaving a bit of low end torque on the table.
