Can a 22x9 transport rim be used for spare tire?

I found a like new 22x9 transport rim which has the same backspace and offset as my 22x9 rims. I want a full size spare with same road tire as I have now, rather than the 17” rim and tire that are currently the spare. I want this mainly for if I have a flat while towing I would have more options than the “towing not recommended” on the current spare. What do you think?

I would imagine a transport wheel would be rated less than a spare tire considering its intended use. It would probably make for a cool spare tho. My answer is not based on any research, straight from the hip.

You could just buy a single wheel to match what are currently on the vehicle and then you have a true spare.

There's a guy with a ppv who runs 4 transport wheels on his. It's just a regular rim/wheel.
