Can a Tahoe be ordered without third-row seats?

If you don't have the third row it drops the re sale value of the truck alot

If i didn't have my kids I wouldn't have bought my tahoe! I would be rolling something like a 4runner with better gas mileage and 3 times the quality.

What an odd thing to say ... you could have bought a Sequoia instead of a Tahoe and had both the room you need and perceived quality you seek. 4Runners and much smaller SUVs more comparable to a Traverse.

I owned a 4Runner back in the early 90s and it was a fantastic vehicle, probably the highest quality one I've ever owned. But the current ones look like plastic children's toys with comically tucked in wheels/tires inside their fenders.

I wanted a sequoia but the wife didn't like the styling and it would have cost me about 15 g more the year I got the tahoe for the new bodystyle sequoia. I have a couple of friends with new 4runners and they seem alot more solid built than my tahoe. a Traverse and 4runner prob the same size but there are no other comparisons between the two. I willnot drive a chevy unless it has a v8 (exception grandnational).

Just curious if a Tahoe can be ordered without third-row seats? About the only use for third-row seats is for those who have been cursed with children, but for others, third-row seats are a waste of space. I think the third-row seats were the first thing I removed from my Tahoe when I drove it home for the first time, and throwing them in the Lubbock County Dump used valuable fill space.

Third row seats come standard on all 2012 Tahoe vehicles, with the exception of the PPV and SSV models (as "soulsea" stated). However, those model are not general available to the public.
