Can I move my cabin air filter to my '05

So, another great GM decision, let's get rid of the cabin filter, it works great, much better quality of air, better for kids with allergies....let's get rid of it....

So I have it on my '00 that I am getting ready to part out. Do you think I can move that section over to my '05?

It would be nice....

Your right it's not. I really wish they had not done away with the cabin air filter. Following this to see if it can be done.
On a side note, does anyone know how to clean the heater core exterior? I imagine the fins a probably pretty clogged up after 12 years. Something the cabin air filter woul have prevented.

Oh and I think we're looking for a picture of the 00.
