if they are facing really far in the wrong direction yes it possible but i would think you have the headlight buckets reversed or upside-down to be that far off. or maybe the bulb isnt seated correctly. as the buckets and everything are slightly angled for these trucks if i recall that shouldn't be possible tho. actually did find a couple revews making that claim tho for the exact ones you bought. they appear to be anzo knock offs so if you can figure out what wrong with the housing or get a set thats actually working correctly they should work out well for you. its either that or return them for your money and get a better quality brand. these are definitely a pay for what you get item and as very few places even sell them and those aren't even that notable for quality items. so id have to say you seem to have probably got a set that made it past whatever quality control they might have.
I have the same LEDs, they are made to have the same set back as stock halogens bulbs. He also try halogens builds. I also think these need to go back and try a different brand.

LED headlights need to be properly adjusted for the beam pattern to be optimal. Hopefully, the set you bought are adjustable (cheap ones may not be).
The actual adjustment mechanism is different for different brands/models, but the instructions supplied with the LEDs (or an installation guide on their product web site) should guide you through the process.

Bottom line, the popsicle stick in the LED headlight holding the LED chips needs to be as close to vertical as possible, after installed and locked into place in the headlight housing, with the LED chips pointing to the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. The photo of the guide below, while not for your specific brand/model, will give you a visual sense of how these LED headlights need to be positioned in a correct alignment within the headlight housing.

Here are pictures of the beams. The first picture is of the low beams. The second picture is of the high beams and the last picture is of the high beams projected onto a garage door. Notice how ’spaced’ the lighting is in the second picture and the ‘starry’ shape in the last picture.

My uncle is a mechanic and he said that he believes the pattern is ’scattered’ because of the way the housing is made. It is mirrored, but has small lines in the shapes of squares. Also, the headlights cannot be adjusted. You can turn the adjusters, but nothing happens.

Definitely out of adjustment, but even if they were correctly adjusted the output isn't great. Return these and try different brand. drakon seems to like the anzos. The reviews I seen on your current ones had lots of fogging and leaking issues.

Yea, I’m thinking about going with Anzos.

I replaced a light assembly on mine, and had to do it quick after work in the dark. I didn’t adjust the new one, and my lights were looking at birds and squirrels. Finally adjusted as per my Haynes manual. One thing guys have had success with is adding the relay so your headlights stay on when you select high beams. Then you have bright on a dark night. Good luck.

I have noticed that most headlight housings look the same, with the small ‘squares’ in the mirrored housing. If that is the case, wouldn’t all of the housings put out the same looking beams?

Sometime ago I researched better lighting for my '05 Yukon..... I read that not all LEDs are designed for the specific housing you want to use them for. The issue is the reflecting design inside your housing requires a specific style of LED bulb.
Just because the LED "fits" your mount, doesn't mean it is made for your housing - INTERIOR REFLECTION pattern.
