Sometime ago I researched better lighting for my '05 Yukon..... I read that not all LEDs are designed for the specific housing you want to use them for. The issue is the reflecting design inside your housing requires a specific style of LED bulb.
Just because the LED "fits" your mount, doesn't mean it is made for your housing - INTERIOR REFLECTION pattern.
Yea, but my problem was the halogen bulbs wouldn’t work either. Both the LEDs and the halogen bulbs looked horrible.

My son had a set for his trailblazer. They fit good, looked good, but the wires were undersized. The socket kept melting. He ended up replacing them.
I have heard Anzo is pretty good. Any particular headlight housing you would recommend? Are the OEM type housings better than the solid clear housings? Does one put out better lighting than the other? Thank you.

OEM housings the best. They have poor reflectors due to "styling" and plastic.
For me,100 W Hella with all 4 on hi beam works well without led night blindness. You could spend $1000 and get better.

Looking at the pictures, they’re sold under the Depo brand and made in Taiwan. Whether Depo actually makes them is anyone’s guess, but being made in Taiwan is usually better than China from a quality control perspective.

That is good to hear. I have searched Google for the top OEM style headlights, and Depo is usually towards the top, along with Replacement and ReplaceXL. So, those may be the ones that I go with. Thanks!

I just found a brand new set of genuine General Motor headlights and parking lights from a seller on eBay for $260. However, eBay's Compatibility Chart shows the following:

This part is not compatible with this 1997 GMC Yukon SL Sport Utility 2-Door 5.7L 350Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV Naturally Aspirated.

I thought the headlights/parking lights in an OBS Tahoe and OBS Yukon were the same. Just the side markers were different. Is this not the case? I do have a Tahoe, but it has a GMC grille. Anyone know for sure if these headlights and parking lights will fit in my GMC grille? Here are the part numbers:

Genuine GM Headlamp #15034930
Genuine GM Headlamp #15034929
Genuine GM Parking Lamp #5976838
Genuine GM Parking Lamp #5976837

Thanks everyone for all of your help.
