Can this crack cause a vacuum leak?

I would gently melt it back together with a soldering iron, and snip off a strip of similar material from that big tab (on the left side of your picture) to use as filler.

I did that to a hole in my intake manifold, and it's holding up great.

A bit of silicone, glue gun, electrical tape, jb weld... Easy fix.
