Wow, you make it look simple but I dread just dropping the tranny. On a truck, must be heavy. From the pics in the background, looks like you got the space and tools to properly do this unlike 80% of us probably. Appreciate you for even sharing the process and hoping it goes as smooth as you make it sound so far.

Well I did it. For anyone with any mechanical skill don't be afraid of it. I successfully rebuilt my first transmission, however I encountered another reason why the last one went bye bye. The solenoid pack is bad so I have to get another one. I've seen in a few of the caddy and corvette forums that doing a reprogram and clean cycle of the solenoids usually worked but I'm not taking any chances.
