Can you remove these?

Hello guys, I was wondering if you could remove the adjustable pedals tc off and parking assist buttons? Why? I would like to put aftermarket switches in case I put rear air shocks. I wouldn't be the cluster of three like I have now it would be the six button cluster

In my book the one with the cubby is better. Glue a piece of plastic over drill holes and wire switches to it. Was going to make something close to what is posted but ended up with a police console insert and overhead radio console
Or bug a friend with a 3d printer and make a switch panel for it.

Don't forget the overhead, from 2007-2009, the power folding seats had 2 switches on the right side of the overhead console. The left side is occupied with two switches for the moonroof and the center position for the liftgate.

You could pop those switches out, plug them in, and place them inside the dash. Or stick an entire module inside the dash with the pedal, TC, and Park assist plugged in. Then modify one for your switches with the cig lighters and whatever else plugged in. I did that in my explorer and none were the wiser (including the BCM).
