Hey guys so unfortunately some ************* broke into my car yesterday when my Yukon was parked at my work!!! They stole my pioneer double din navi unit and my iPod which was Hooke up to it. Considering this happened I am not sketched out to drop another 8-900$ for a new double din. Was curious to know if it is possible to have my amp and subs hooked up to my factory head unit, and of so how different is the sound quality? Please help me out!!

damn, sorry to hear about that. you can hook up your amp using a line out convertor which will give you a signal for your amp to run the subs. They usually sound pretty good, but the pre-amp signal usually isn't very high, as compared to say the 4volt pre out from your pioneer. If you want a higher pre out voltage i recommend using an Audiocontrol LC2i. It has individual gains and sends a much stronger preout to your amp than a standard Line Out Converter. It also helps restore the bass that the factory deck tends to cut out as you increase volume. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-2OOOkZUo52H/p_161LC2I/AudioControl-LC2i.html

Sub amp yes, using the audio control or pac above. Mids and highs amp, no, if you have a Bose amp.
