Carbon Fiber Wrapped Interior

Finally got around to wrapping that tacky fake wood interior trim with carbon fiber wrap. I got it off Amazon for $25 for a 3'x5' roll. I even wrapped the bowties in front and back. I have plenty left over to fix any that needs replacing.

Looks alot better now.

Nice. I did that to my toolbox. If they fade of get damaged, remove and reapply.

that looks GREAT i like the diff with that color interior. we just picked up a 13' with the light grey interior and that FAKE wood grain crap is hideous. ive wrapped some body parts on motorcycles (fender, tail section, bellypan) etc
wonder if i could do all the wood colored stuff in our tahoe?

do you plan on doing the center console as well?

I have to admit I am really liking the way it looks. I wonder whatever possessed GM to put horrible looking wood plastic for trim. I also have a 2011 Escalade that is really begging for the same treatment. I have enough to do that one too. I just need to stop being lazy. With work and school, I barely have any time.

My goal was to cover the craptasic fake wood. I think the center console looks fine the way it is.

The trim pieces are really easy to remove. Just need a trim plastic pry bar tool or a flat head screwdriver.

Did you end up doing the doors as well, or just the parts in the dash.

I really hate the fake wood trim. Am considering hydro dipping, but a wrap is a less permanent solution.
