I decided to finish off my audio install in the TAC-hoe with some dynamat extreme and some speaker baffles. Turns out that the shop I used probably didn't work on a lot of Tahoe's I'm guessing. Why? Because they BROKE EVERY single door panel retention clip on all 4 doors. Lost 3 out of the 6 bolts in front and 2 out of the 6 in the rear. The vapor guard was completely missing from the passenger front door and all the weather strips were bent or damaged in some way. Out of the 4 installed speakers, only 1 had 4 screws holding them in. Disgusting to me. Such little care taken by "professional" shops.

But, after a hard days work, all the doors are now dynamatted, and all speakers are secured properly. What a HUGE difference in audio quality and road noise reduction. She's coming along nicely...not I just need to get into the trunk area. It's still a rattle trap back there...

Unbelievable! I wonder how they treat their personal vehicles!

I do all my own work. But...audio is something that I always wanted "professionally" installed simply because running speaker wire and hooking up amp was not my forte. Putting in cams, nitrous, turbo's, building engines, suspension mods, etc...all day long.
