My 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 had a similar cargo tray to make a flat floor but the skirts to cover the rear seat hardware were attached to the seat backs and not the tray. I liked having it for storing a tire plug kit, jumper cables and other odds and ends like spare wireless headsets and batteries.

That looks like it had some room in it, these things have nothing ...

i am think of getting a strip of carpet, having it bound and velcro stitched then that will solve that problem. Im fine with the cargo mat as is tho.

Yes, they sure do, kinda deep as well. That's the trade off though between a full frame truck and the unibody of the minivan.

Sounds like a good plan, should look good too when done.

I got carpeted mats, i hate plastic inside the truck. They are the Lloyd brand. I bought them for all my trucks. Yes i may have to vacuum more but again, i hate plastic..

Nice. Lloyd makes some nice mats, some of the thickest and highest quality I’ve had. Had some in my previous Gen2 CTS-V.

Put the stuff in the net. That's why it's shaped like a poutch.

Stuff slides underneath the cargo net. There is no way to secure the net at the bottom to keep things from sliding underneath it.

It’s poor design all around but the best solution is to tuck the bottom of the net into the little cargo box. Then things won’t roll under it.
