I'm not saying that no muffler makes the catylitic converters reach such temps but heat does/will effect them and shorten the amount of time that that they are useful.
Your opinion cannot prove someone else's opinion to be inccorrect.
If you research the matter there is a lot of factual information/data on the discussion available through testing that has previously been done.
Don't take the posts offensively man.
Sunlit takes time from his life to help people each and every day, and you/he is a great mechanic.
You know the mechanic, electrical and air conditioning systems inside and out and I'm thankful for people like you dedicating your time to help those whom you don't know and can't repay the favor; hell you've even helped me.
Just don't tell me I'm wrong because you've never heard of it or whatever the reasoning is.
