Where are you guys mounting your antennas? Pics?

How is your SWRs with that glass antenna? Did you correct them with adding the spring or adjusting the length of your cable?

@Kenny D I still need to get it tuned by a pro. I cut about an inch off and it helped some, but my signal still isn't great.

Just remember that your vehicle body is reflecting signal being that close to the antenna. Best performance will ALWAYS come from an unobstructed antenna.

I ended up getting the Midland 1001LWX that should be here in the next couple days.

I was planning on mounting the antenna on the drivers side hood corner opposite the radio antenna.

Seems like a good compromise between decent signal and not having a 102" whip mounted on the roof. It will almost look like its factory.

Mounted up my CB the other day. Took a few pics. I'm really happy how it turned out. It fits in the little cubby perfectly.

Perfect size. I pulled my console and put in a jump seat so I just threw it in that empty area.
