I am trying to install a CCM 2.5 front and 1.5 rear leveling kit. I got the front installed with no problems. But the rear i believe is autoride. I take the bottom shock bolts out and lower the rear axle with a jack, but it doesn't lower enough to get the springs out? I have it lifted up high enough for room, but something is holding it from dropping far enough to get the springs out. Any ideas?

Air lines don't matter if removing bottom shock bolts. It's the sway bar bolts holding it up. After those are off it can swing down about 3" before brake lines get tight. You can unbolt the one diff bolt holding lines to free up some slack when going from 3-6" swing.

just did mine a few weeks back. I can tell you for sure it's the sway bar. take both sides loose from the frame and the axle will drop freely away from the frame and the springs will fall right out.

Thank you for the replies. I was able to get them installed with the help of some coil spring compressors.

check that pesky breather line for the rear end mine was literally holding all the weight of the rear end when I installed my 1.5" spacer. I had the spot light in just the right place where I could not see it. It was just sitting there screamin. But I was basically done at that point and went along my way.

Mine was the brake line holding it up, bracket bolted to the top of the rear end cover.
