once in a while the cd changer will start changing with NO cd's in it in the middle of the night and run the battery down. I now carry a spare battery in the extra battery tray and a set of jumper cables. This has happened a number of times. Also the electric tailgate when closed sometimes will open again by itself right after closing. Any ideas? Thanks.

I went ahead and reported your post so it will get moved to a better area. You posted in the NBS section.
We don't have them fancy electric tailgates thangies so I can't say much there.
As far as the CD changer that is an odd issue. Do you have any discs in it? Maybe it's trying to find a disc to have ready to play?

Not sure if this will help or not but mine was kind of doing the same thing it would blink the CD logo at the top right of my CD player screen and constantly trying to read a CD but kept saying there's no CDs and none of the six disc options that I had it was causing my battery to go dead every single night so I went to pushing all the buttons one day and I just held down the load button for like 15 seconds maybe a little longer till It beeped and then it went away and I didn't have that problem no more

Started taking the key out at night. Have not had a problem since. Thanks for the reply. I will try that.
