So it will bolt right on and not look funny? Are they all leather? I got grey cloth

Yes, it's a direct bolt on and does not look out of place at all. The Denali/Escalade consoles are the same shape.

Just wondering why you need it padded? Don't you have captain chairs and therefore use the passed armrest? That is what I do, so I am missing the point as to why it matters if the center lid is hard and not padded???

I never use my arm rest. I find the center console much more comfortable but it all depends on personal comfort/driving position. Even when I had the hard top center console lid, I still put my elbow on that instead of the arm rest.

My wife on the other hand puts the arm rest down everytime she uses my truck and drives me insane :gunner:

Your wife does it correctly, ........ Apparently she knows all the features on your rig. ;-)

Anyone have photos of the padded center console installed? I'm a big guy and find myself resting on the center console at times. That and the plastic "bowl" acts as a dust collector.

Side by side pics are attached.

The Denali lid is a bit shorter and not quite as tall but way more comfortable!

Padded captains chairs leather arm rests FTW!!!
I can't get rid of my plastic cover with the little indent, I use that area to set stuff in all the time. Plus it's too low for me, I would have a mean gangsta lean if I used that as an arm rest lol
