center/floor front console

Is there anything I can do to replace my center floor console with a wood grain console from another model. I have a Tahoe with the huge unused space and the clip in cup holder and I was thinking about replacing it with something like the esclade or the burb has?

Any ideas.

Pictures attached. The first is from my 2007 Tahoe and the second is what I want to replace it with?

I hope someone has done this before I spend 160 bucks on ebay.

Many people have done it including myself when I had a Tahoe ... it takes less than 30 seconds to swap them.

I'm actually going the other way...purchased the open cubby from a member here on the forum and it should arrive tomorrow.

The second compartment in the Denali one (same as the one in your 2nd pic) is useless for anything other than pens and business cards. Right now I have to keep the sunglass case in the door...

If you want the "maple" trim, I'm willing to sell mine.

Btw, all I needed to store all my bits is the tray that comes as a $15 accessory for inside the center console.

I've got the tray as well.....I like to throw my phone in the console cover indentation. If I have to open the compartment, the phone is headed for the back seat floor.
