I would just buy a Good brand with a warranty, and if you live up north maybe something with Higher cold cranking amps

You'll need 2 metric size sockets. I think it's a 13MM for the fender bracket (4 bolts) and and battery hold down bracket (1 bolt but will need an extension). The battery clamps use an 8mm.

I went with the Walmart 3 year battery. I don't like shopping at Walmart, but if my battery goes dead at 3am they're the only place open.

Anything special I need to do before changing the battery. I have an aftermarket alarm and stereo. Thanks

Write down radio settings, they'll get reset. Also, connect the positive first, then negative. You can't accidentally short to the body or wire if the ground isn't connected.

Usually batteries shipped to colder regions are "northern" batteries, same model, but have a higher rating in comparison to other regions.

I just changed mine and did not loose radio presets. All I had to do was reset the clock.

And yes take the negative off first and put it back on last

That will be radio dependent, he has an aftermarket. More than just radio presets too.
