Yea the drain plug has a magnetic tip on it. It works pretty good. This is what it collected when my pinion bearing went.

My drain plug or should i say fill plug didn't look that bad. It had metal but I'd say 20 percent if that. Anyway, drove today and I'm satisfied, tahoe Is driving much smoother than it had since I bought it a year ago.

But your pinion bearing went out, so that’s the reason for all that metal correct?

Yea that be it. Then after new rear end, right side axle/clip broke, ground down the end so nothing was holding that axle in but the caliper. I was a hard left turn from loosing that axle and brakes after it would of ripped the caliper off my truck.
