Passenger rear plug removal

easy?

sort of, if you can get the plug boots off. except the rear passenger side. i gave up on trying to change it.

Just drop the fender well on that one, and go in through the wheel well. Its still takes a swivel, and some extentions. Damn heat shield makes it a pain. Just gotta be extra careful not to crack the plug using a swivel.

Spark plugs would rarely cause the vehicle not to start at all. You need to look elsewhere.

However, it still may not be a bad idea to change the plugs as maintinence once you get the truck fixed. Use only AC/Delco plugs and DO NOT GAP THEM! They are iridium plugs and you can very easily break the tip off trying to gap them. They come with the proper gap already.

True but sometimes you may get one that is not gaped correctly. I would still check them and fix them if needed. It's not hard to gap an iridium plug if your careful.

I hate t otell you this, but it isnt the plugs.
either fuel or spark.
so either fuel pump failure or some sensor has failed so the ecu isn't commanding he pump on, or commanding spark.

Agree, it isn't the plugs. Your engine will start with one or more bad plugs. You will just misfire. Also agree pass side rear plug is PITA, but doable. You need angle adapter for ur ratchet.

Plug wires

i never could get the boot off on that one, lol.

Yeah it was 5o/50 chance geting my wires off. No matter how careful I was. O fcourse they were never off since 01 125000 miles ago. Just plan on getting a set if you are going to change plugs.

The old Hoe ran excellent just thought I should do them. The gap was 1/4" the fine wire was gone but color was good just plain wore out.
