I appreciate your input. Good to hear whats what ya know, and how others feel. What are "tb" springs exactly? What is the difference from others? And the 4" tb springs will sit me 1 inch lower then I am now? I would like to be alittle lower, and diffenently if the ride will be better, well, you just can't get around that. I mean, every vehicle will feel different, even with the same setup, so... I am not unhappy with my setup now, but if the ride quality will actually be 10x better, and also give an inch lower. Well, just can't beat that.
When you've been riding around pretty much on your bump stops like I was and also have your sway bar feeling non existant and making you sway bad, until I did those shorter links. But how it feels now is 100x better then before.
I really wish there was a way to test those springs out tho. Anyway I could get a loaner set to test them out?? wink=wink. How nice would that be.

been tested now over 8 years. Proven on this site many times to ride better than stock or any other 5 inch drop spring. If you like the way it rides now just stick to what you have. When you want to get a better ride and have some funds hit me up.

It's not about the funds. It's about justification, know what I mean. I can dump money all over the place on my ride(n sometimes I do in my own way), but if the means don't justify the ends..... atleast I try to listen to that!! LOL
I'm just trying to do my own simple little thing with mine. Not be the biggest spender of cash on my ride. Not my bag. Got to many projects for that. And I'm just one of those DIY types, as most of us are on this forum.

But quick questions NORCAL SS. The tb 4" springs will sit me about 5.5" down right? Also, Do the trailing arm brackets need to be done? Even where I'm at right now with 5" springs? My trailing arms seem to be awefully close to my frame, and actually sounds like it hits sometimes. Will those brackets drop down the rear any?

Got totally off the subject of this thread, just interested now.

I just cannot imagine a coil that sits lower than my setup (5305s matched with Bilstein 5100 shoocks) ride better. From my experince with non-progressive springs (like my past DJM setup) they all ride stiff as shit.

after 4 inches i go with the relocators on the trailing arms just way i do it. Some trucks get 5.5 some get 5 but no matter what ride is much better.

like matt14s truck with 305 40 22 he is at 32.75 from ground to fenderlip in rear with the djm rear tb springs and the djm shocks/rear hardware kit.

Haha DJM don't rag on my youth. :mexsmoke:
If I still had 24s I would try those tb springs, I already rub real good now so I can't go any lower.

Right now I am sitting at 32" on drivers side, and 32 3/4" on passenger side, with 285/50/20 from ground to fender lip. I hate that it sits higher on passenger side tho!!! damn lean.

So i lowered rear alittle more the other day and did free travel mod. Thanks Justin:Handshake:!!! But truck handled very poorly and swayed bad in rear due to sway bar being way out of alignment. I don't have DJMs rear hardware kit with trailing arm relocators or shorter end links. So came up with a very cheap and easy fix.

Went to junk yard and picked up some rear links off a 00' Escalade and a 99' burban, and they are about perfect. Measured them compared to DJMs rear links and about 3/4" shorter then theres, so not a big difference. I installed them and it got my sway bar horizontal with ground. Had to go to hardware store for long bolts, spacers and nuts to make it work on passenger side, and relocate sway bar bracket over on driver side. I also cut my front sway bar links about an inch and really made the front end tighter also.

It now handles amazingly!!! No swaying, no bottoming out, rides and handles absolutely amazing now and feels almost like stock. Still want to get the DJM rear hardware kit, but don't feel a huge need for it right now as it isn't hitting any metal, no bottoming out, and absolutely no swaying front or rear over bumps. Was a great, easy and way cheaper method of lowering the rear sway bar links so they actually do what they should.

So anybody looking for a cheaper method of getting better handling out of there lowered SUV and they don't have the rear hardware kit. Go get some shorter links from a junk yard!!

Like I said, I got mine off a 00' Escalade and a 99' suburban and they worked perfectly. Hope it helps anybody looking to do this cheaper.

Pass side needs to be shorter snd offset in rear. If not offset will just let swaybar hit panhard bar bracket. I have djm endlinks with xerk fittings for 85 shipped. Works great
