I read the owners manual on how to check the level of the trans fluid but still have a question there are the two dots on the dipstick for the hot level aslong as it in there warm your fine? If it's below those dots then you need to add?

Short answer is yes. With the trans hot and engine idling, the level should be between the holes. If the holes are spaced like they are on an engine oil dipstick, it should take one quart to raise the level from the lowest hole to the highest hole. So, if you're at the lowest hole, you should add half a quart to put it in the middle.
