“Cat back” exhaust…isnt that referring to the exhaust components after the cat? Doesn't every single vehicle in like the last 30+ years have a cat back exhaust?Okay so this happened... I ended up buying a Redwood Metallic AT4 today!!! It's in a different state, but I'm having it shipped to me. Both me and the dealer manager were concerned with the smog emissions here in California, but as it turns out, as long as it has a catalytic converter (which it does on the Cat-back exhaust), I'm good to go. I can't wait to see it in person when it arrives.

I agree…great color, thats not overly common!
That is a funny feeling. We agreed to buy our '21 sight unseen and neither my wife or I had even laid a hand on this new generation at that point, let alone sat in one. No inventory on dealer lots anywhere and not that many rigs driving down the road. Satin Steel on a yukon was just a cool color on the internet that we hoped looked as good in person, and it didn't disappoint!I must have been on crack when I said that... lol.
I signed all of the paperwork yesterday, and the transportation company is picking it up tomorrow for its 5-7 day trip across country. I'm a bit nervous because I don't know what to expect from a color I've never seen before in person, but I'm also excited because it's a vehicle that I had good times in back in the mid 90's.
My color choices were either Onyx Black, Satin Steel, or Redwood Metallic. You couldn't persuade me otherwise. I even passed up a more equipped Yukon AT4 because of its Midnight Blue color. I don't think I could ever live with a car color I'm not crazy about. Even if it had all the options I wanted. That is a funny feeling. Agreed. I think i could live with a few missing desired options long before i would even consider a color i didnt really like.My color choices were either Onyx Black, Satin Steel, or Redwood Metallic. As for my Yukon, I'm still patiently awaiting them to contract a transporter to pick it up and deliver it here in California.
For sure. Our yukon has all the options we wanted except for max tow but with the desired body color, desired interior color, desired seat configuration (2nd row bench was a must) I was able to look past not getting max tow. And it was in transit and available for us to buy at a time when we couldn't even lay a hand on this new generation anywhere in person so it was a no brainer.Agreed. Yea…gone are the days of actually being able to see a vehicle in person, test driving, picking and choosing options etc. BEFORE buying the vehicle. Its ridiculous. For sure.
