So after doing the MCG 2/3 drop I have developed a chirping noise coming from the front end. I took the Tahoe to shop this morning for alignment and front end suspension check. Keep in mind when I went in tahoe was not pulling in either direction. However I did tell them it was drifting left because I did not want to mention I had dropped it. I was unsure of their policy and my lifetime alignment agreement. Either way they come back and tell me my right hub bearing is going out and this is what is causing the chirping sound. $377. Your water pump may also be starting to weep $350. I tell him I always thought when the hub is going out it humms and tire will have play. He responed will your hub is not tothe point where it has become loose yet but it is starting to bind on the inside that is why your hearing that noise. I can do this myself so I tell them I will have to come back. So they proceed and will adjust alignment. Cool! No!! They come back after they are complete and say your TAhoe is still drifting left due to your tires. You will need tire rotation soon. Yeah okay. F##%! Now the TAhoe is really pulling to the left and I got front end chirp. Really I think it's all B.S. If I place my hand on the front passanger side bumper and rock truck up and down the chirp appears so I really don't see that being the hub assembly!
Anybody got any ideas or advice?

I used Spindles up front. plus I adjusted torsion bar front down 3/4" Only because I was sitting level at 34 1/2" all around. Now I am at 33 3/4" up front.. I'm thinking it maybe shock but not sure...

I'm curious to hear what the cause is. Have you checked for unusual play in the front wheels?

I was not able to get any play out of the wheel . That is why I asked shop guy. He just said the hub was binding but had not yet got loose. I really don't think it's the hub since i can hear the chirp when rocking the truck up and down while it is sitting on the ground. I think something is rubbing somewhere or the maybe coming from front shock. I am currently at work so will have to wait till day off to check again. I still have the new Bilsteins sitting at home. I might just throw them in on the front. The rear will stay Nivomat.

Mine was chirping too but from the rear, sounded like I was the leader of a flock of birds until it got going about 35 or so. Brakes, the wear indicator was barely scraping the rotor. $20 later and no more chirping.

Chiping noise update. After checking the wheels on the TAhoe I found first off all tire pressure were incorrect. I figured shop would have checked this prior to alignment since they went as far to test my water pump without me asking. Also found chirping was nothing but the brake dust cover. Had a lil bend and was making noise. A little adjustment and chirp is gone. So as far as them claiming my Bearing Hub Assembly was at fault was BS! Esp. since they just happened to have on in stock and ready to go. As for my Nitto tires being bad. I think that is BS also. I will probably have to go else where and have it realigned again. It is actually pretty straight after tire presure adjustment.

A lot of people dont think the tire pressure is important. I have noticed changing tire pressure make a big difference in ride, MPG and handling especially when you are dealing with a bigger tire. im happy you found it out before throwing money at it and as for the place you went BAN from it and never go back even if you do have a free alignment agreement.

Good job on finding the chirp! I asked the alignment place to check all my bolts to make sure they are well torqued and set my tire pressures, but I'm not really convinced they did either so I'll end up pulling the wheels off and doing all that myself later this week. Some places just aren't very concerned about return business.
