Chrome Exhaust Tip how to install ?

I just bought this Chrome tip, I was wondering who has it installed on their Escaldade and did you install it or have a shop do it. Does this need to be welded on or just tighten a screw? If I have it installed how much should it cost? And if you can just screw it on should I or have it welded on. Lastly I was told this will not change the sound, not louder or quieter. I want it to sound just the way it does stock. Also pics of your exhaust if you have them!

To be honest, I bought an MBRP exhaust from someone off here and it isn't much louder at all. It's what I call tasteful.
