Chrome flaking off the door handle inside the car

Grrr I would print that out but I can see them throwing it back at me, it says it expired two days ago!!!

just flick them off and go to another dealer haha. or stand there yelling and saying how there customer service sucks. u should get there attention fast.

I might be able to pull something up by your VIN. If you do end up having this special coverage and you are over 100,000 miles, you would need to speak with your dealership to confirm if they would replace them for you at no cost anyway.

Exactly! There is NO expiration date on the fix of the handles if it hasn't already been done, except 10 years or 100,000 miles. You shouldn't even need the letter. I didn't.

Like I said, I had no problem at all getting this done on my (new to me) 2007 Tahoe. I didn't even get any funny looks :) They just said that yes there was a service bulletin, they would order the new handles, I should come back tomorrow, it will take about an hour, and there will be NO charge.

You should be fine Chris! If not we will gang up on them :Boo:
